Daniel Bologna
Daniel Bologna has been the Assistant Principal of James H. Moran Sr. Middle School since 2016. He began his career in education as an 8th grade Social Studies teacher in Wethersfield before moving on to taking on his first leadership role in 2015 before joining the Moran team. Mr. Bologna has been married for 14 years and is a father to three boys, 8 year old twins and a 3 year old, who keep him busy with soccer, basketball, and baseball all year long. In addition to his love of spreadsheets, he is a devoted fan of the Mets, Giants, and Liverpool. Mr. Bologna has always worked with Middle School aged students and enjoys all that Moran Middle School has to offer our students and our community.
Joseph A. Piacentini
Mr. Joseph A. Piacentini, Principal of James H. Moran Sr. Middle School, has been lucky enough to lead Moran since 2012. He began his career as a 6th and 7th-grade Social Studies teacher. He has also been a middle school Assistant Principal and high school Assistant Principal prior to joining Moran. While a teacher, Mr. Piacentini coached soccer, basketball, softball, and tennis. In addition to being a middle school Principal, Mr. Piacentini is a lucky husband and father to three wonderful children. He is a dedicated fan of the New York Jets and New York Mets.
Mr. Piacentini is very proud of the work his faculty and staff have done over his 10+ years as an administrator at Moran. He has grown to love the Wallingford community and is glad he has been able to contribute to the education of its children. He is looking forward to seeing the continuous growth and improvement in all of Moran's wonderful students for years to come.
